Following outrage amongst delegates at this year's Labour Party Conference, after the Conference Arrangements Committee decided to remove the motion from the conference agenda.
As previously reported, both proposers of the motion stood up at conference to question this asking the CAC on Monday's morning session, and despite Labour having ALREADY BRIEFED THE MEDIA that the motion was unlikely to be debated at all at the Conference this week.
Conference had to wait until Wednesday's final day at Conference to see it added to the agenda.
The Chancellor Rachel Reeves and the Prime Minister had already made it clear that the motion would be ignored even if carried!
The first Labour Government since 2010, 14 years ago, has made a POLITICAL CHOICE, to attack those in our society with the least; whilst protecting and rewarding those with the most!

As you can see from the video above, there was some confusion on the top table, as how to respond to the call from some delegates for a card vote to be taken. In such a case the Delegates from the CLP and TU sides would be listed and their respective votes collated into 'yes' and 'no' votes to determine the results.
In the end, the chair stuck to her judgement that the motion was carried.
