Dave Joyce, CWU's National Health & Safety Officer has written to all Branches this week expressing concern that "important information sent out via the Union's LTB and BOB communications systems to Branches are not reaching Safety Representatives." Writing in LTB01/06 he has appended a list of all LTBs,Bobs and Safety Rep Newsletter issued since taking over the post of National Health & Safety Officer in 2003. Expressing concern at the situation Dave said, "This problem has become blatantly clear over recent months when Safety Reps have contacted the HS&E Department either by letter, phone, fax or e-mail asking questions about something which had been referred to some weeks or months earlier in an LTB or BOB Paragraph. It is important that branches review arrangements for disseminating such information so as to ensure it reaches the appropriate audience."
