IOSH Annual Conference Comes To The North West
With another successful annual conference under its belt, IOSH '08 closed this week with the announcement that next year's annual conference and exhibition will be moving to the North West!
Held in Telford over the last few years, this will make it more accessible for the health and safety professionals in the north of the country, including those from the NW BTU H&S Co-ord who attended this year's exhibition and conference.
The conference website proudly makes this announcement:
IOSH 09 returns on 17-18 March at a brand new location – the BT Convention Centre, Liverpool.
Reviewing IOSH '08 Conference and Exhibition, the website says:
"IOSH 08 was a great success, welcoming more visitors than ever before! The aisles were buzzing as visitors benefited from access to leading suppliers at our extensive exhibition, free educational content and practical demonstrations.
The conference agenda was timely and relevant to the needs of the profession, with additions to the programme that gave delegates even more learning and networking opportunities.
We had a great line-up of speakers, including key figures from the HSE, New York’s DuPont, Marks & Spencer, Emirates National Oil Company, Schlumberger Oilfield Services, the Royal Mail Group and RoSPA. A dynamic dimension to the programme was also added by professional facilitator Declan Curry."
