If Streeting has his way, Physician Associates, Anaesthesia Associates, Nurse Associates, all of whom are NOT qualified or trained medical staff, will be seeing you instead of the appropriate physician and fully qualified GP, Surgeon, Doctor, or Nurses in your surgery, GP Practice, Clinic or hospital; just as in the United States! At least two people in England have dies as a result of incorrect treatment and diagnosis by a Physician Associate, with many many more being injured or their ill-health condition being mishandled. Chances are that you risk being seen, WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE, or knowing who is treating you. Further in many hospitals know, identity tags once worn by all medical staff, are no longer being worn in order to protect staff from complaints! At least that is what appears to be the case. If you don't want this to happen, then this can be used to highlight in your medical notes that you only want to see a fully trained and accredited GP or Hospital Doctor. Your life may depend upon it, as there has already been at least 2 deaths as a result of PAs administering prescriptions or wrongly diagnosing patients. The postcard below, can be downloaded and printed and sent to your GP surgery and/or taken with you to an out-patient appointment. This is completely legal and within your right as an NHS patient!
