Streeting Received £193,000 from private healthcare interests, but refused to respond The Labour Government's Health and Social Care Secretary, Wes Streeting, spoke on 25th March at a paid for Guardian newspaper event at Conway Hall, Red Lions Sq in London, presumably to answer questions about the NHS and his 'long-term' plan.
Furthermore, the new head of NHS England is talking about the amalgamation of different ICS in order to cut costs, and has suggested the introduction of American Healthcare system of Accountable Care Organisations across England along with cutting more hospital beds and moving patient care from Hospitals to the community. 'The Community' means 'private healthcare' with the freedom to deny care, increase costs and to introduce eventually, patient charging. The woman, by the name of 'Maggie, spoke about her healthcare in the local A&E were she had to wait for 12 hours to be seen, only then because she developed Sepsis, a dangerous and often fatal condition; whilst waiting to be seen by a doctor. As a result she then required emergency surgery by the NHS Hospital. Following her recovery from this surgery which saved her life, she then had to undergo treatment at a private clinic, at a cost of £13,000 because the NHS could not treat her in time. Rightly so, she asked, from her audience position; when will Streeting speak about the state of the A&E depts in hospitals, which this paid-for speaking opportunity was not intending to ask him to do. As with the Tories, prior to the Health & Care Act 2022, secretly embedding the US system into the NHS by the name of Integrated Care Boards, which was arguably illegal given it required the new legislation agreed or otherwise by Parliament, this Labour Government is preparing the NHS for re-organisation from top down by abolishing NHS England and transferring their roles and responsibilities to the DHSC which is under total control by Wes Streeting. The plan is to close down hospitals, transfer the care and treatment to a string of hubs run by the private healthcare interests of venture capital, hedge funds, and the companies they own. AS with the US, hospitals will be centralised and away from local communities, responsible for ever decreasing treatment of NHS patients, whilst local surgical hubs will replace them and with no A&E depts; with all aftercare being provided by private clinics, mobile nursing staff, with treatments being at home. The End of the NHS as envisaged and set up by the Labour Government of Bevan, is now being gutted and disintegrated by a Labour Government controlled by big business and the American healthcare system being integrated into UK's new Local health Service aimed at profiteering from the ill-health of the population.
